Unit Description: Grow your career and develop a team that shares your desire to make a difference! -Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, NY. NYP-Queens is a 535-bed level I trauma center and teaching hospital serving residents of Queens and metro New York as part of the New York-Presbyterian system. - - -The successful candidate will: -

• provide high-level management of the clinical nutrition program;
• work with the Clinical Nutrition Manager II to train, mentor and supervise a team of 12 inpatient and 4 outpatient dietitians;
• drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
• oversee rollout of department programs and initiatives;
• provide training and education to interdisciplinary healthcare professionals; -
• be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital- and system-wide committees; and
• serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and assist in food service management as needed. -Is this opportunity right for you? - We are looking for candidates who will: -

Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
