United States of AmericaIdentify opportunities and successfully
sell innovative solutions to American LevFin clients. Work together
with Relationship Managers to provide Trade & Working Capital
Solutions for sub-investment grade names.Act as advisor,
consultant, and first point of contact for clients' ongoing trade
finance needs. Manage client journey from sales through
implementation, and act as escalation point of contact. Adherence
to internal processes to ensure control and transparency over sales
activity.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Market GTB trade products (Receivables, SCF, Structured Trade,
Letters of Credit, etc.) to potential Santander clients in the
sub-investment grade space, proactively looking for new business
opportunities covering domestic or cross-border trade, with or
without recourse and under a portfolio or name-by-name
approach.
- Preparation of commercial plans, pitches and RFIs designed to
target C Suite level interaction through: Analysis of client's
financial strategy and their financial reports and compare them
with their peers in the relevant sector, as well as presenting how
the Santander trade products can support the client for it to
achieve its strategic goals.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of key trends across our core
sectors and potential application of our working capital
products.
- Contribute to the creation and future development of the
product proposition through regular sharing of client
feedback.
- Coordinate stakeholders both internal (CDD, Compliance, Risks,
Legal, IT, Compliance, Operations, etc.) and external (Legal firms,
Insurers, brokers, etc.) to provide a best-in-class service and
seamless end to end execution including client onboarding and due
diligence process.
- Ensure understanding of the Bank's operating practices and
governance and ensure these are followed in line with the
guidelines.
- Provide pricing / market intelligence to transactions, ensuring
transaction profitability in line with the Bank's capital models
presenting to the relevant committees, where applicable.
- Reporting to senior management regarding the progress of the
commercial agenda.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully,

equivalent degree and/or work experience, in Business, Finance, or
a related field.Skills, Experience and Abilities:
- Must possess knowledge of American leverage finance
markets.
- Experience working with sub-investment grade clients.
- Exposure to Commodities and/or Financial Sponsors is a
plus.
- High motivation, proactivity, and accomplished business
origination skills.
- Significant financial knowledge (Working capital cycle, cash
flow forecasting, financial statement analysis, modelling
etc.).
- High level of presentation and organizational skills.
- Understanding of mechanics, drivers and risks associated with
Trade products.
- Understanding the competitive market and the role of technology
within Trade finance.
- Capability to develop relationships inside the organization to
collaborate across geographical boundaries.
- In-depth understanding of the front to back execution process
