The Equipment Supply Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the
ordering, maintenance, and replacement of all Emergency Department
equipment and supplies in collaboration with Materials Management
and SPD. Flexes as needed to assists with providing patient care as
an Emergency Department Technician under the supervision of a
registered nurse.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sit up to 2 hours per day; 1 hour at a time. - Stand for up to 8
hours per day; - Walk up to 8 hours per day; 10 minutes at a time.
- Consistently lift, carry, and push objects up to 50 pounds. -
Transport patients weighing up to 250 lbs via wheelchair, bed
and/or stretcher. - Frequently stoop and bend and reach above
shoulder level. - Must be able to perceive attributes of an object
through touch. - Must be able to hear as it relates to normal
conversation, and high/low frequencies. - Must be able to see as it
relates to general, near, far, color, and peripheral vision
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in
Business Administration preferred.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Seven to ten years of experience in the following department(s):
Emergency Department, Storeroom, Purchasing, Sterile Processing
Division preferred. Knowledge of inventory control and budgeting
process required. EMT certification preferred. CPR certification
required. Medical terminology required.
WORK SHIFT:
Full time days, as scheduled. 40 hours per week. Shift rotation may
be required to meet staffing needs. -Please complete your
